Fedora 7 KDE spin

Speaker: Rex Dieter

Share the experience of leading the creation of the Fedora 7 KDE spin. Creating the Fedora 7 KDE spin was full of unique challenges, namely, making a linux distribution more desktop agnostic, and (re)building user/developer communities.

[Rex Dieter]

Rex Dieter works as Computer System Administrator in the Mathematics Department at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Rex is a KDE advocate and founded the KDE Red Hat project in 2002. He is an active contributor to Fedora, and is a member of the Fedora Project Board. Rex lives in Omaha, Nebraska USA, with his wife, 2 children, and 4 cats.
