Kubuntu: turning KDE into an operating system

Speaker: Jonathan Riddell

Kubuntu aims to be a pure KDE distribution. However there are a number of areas which need filled in before KDE is ready to be part of an operating system. This talk will look at what is missing in KDE before it can be a complete desktop. It will also look at some of the changes, some experimental some more common sense, that have been made to KDE for Kubuntu. Finally it will look at the related projects of Lauchpad and bzr and discuss their uses and possibilities.
