Qtopia for Developers

Speaker: Harald Fernengel

Qtopia is Trolltech's application platform for efficient creation of Linux-based devices. This talk will show Qtopia from a developer's perspective, and explain why it's an interesting thing for a KDE developer. The talk will include a life demo showing how easy it is to write an application for Qtopia using the Greenphone, Trolltech's Linux mobile development device, as a reference. The differences between developing on the desktop and developing for a mobile device are highlighted. A sneak preview on upcoming Qtopia versions concludes the talk.
